"We try to find a good Indonesian coffee at least one a year. This seasonal limited selection is from Catur, the Indonesian green exporter co-founded by the world barista champion Mikael Jasin. While Indonesian coffee is pretty common to find in Japan, it’s hard to get the one its quality. This Pollung is very comfortable, relaxing, and suitable for everyday drinkers."

"Pollung, situated approximately 6 hours north of Medan, the capital city of North Sumatra Province, is engaged in operating mills and investing in livelihoods by procuring high-quality coffee beans, growing in a 150 ha coffee growing area with a production capacity of 150 - 200 MT. Together, the producer and farmers in Pollung area merge their traditional coffee expertise with a commitment to community welfare. In Pollung region, top-notch coffee cherries and parchment are being sourced from nearby farmers, approximately 300 smallholder farms. Over time, they have become an indispensable part of the local coffee community.
