"Direct trade is often understood simply as producers and roasters transacting without intermediaries, b ut it actually embodies a much deeper philosophy. Direct trade is a way to build trust in the closest relationships possible, embodying a commitment to understanding each other's stories, sharing fair value, and growing together.
 
This year, we decided to name our coffees after the producers we first established relationships with in Honduras, as a tribute to their unseen efforts, their dedication to coffee, and our attempt to build a deeper trust. Instead of simply naming their farms, we chose to name our coffees after the producers who produced them. The coffee we're introducing this time, from farm owner Alejandro, has a roasted cashew aroma, followed by a refreshing acidity reminiscent of green apple."
