From Momos:

"At the western end of the Andes Mountains, 2300 meters above sea level (masl), there is a farm called La Guadua on this high hill where the clouds meet the farm. Built by Edgar Jimmy Gomez and Yeison Burbano, these producers have inherited coffee for the second generation. They go beyond simple cultivation and are producers who took first place in 'la mejor taza de mi narino' in 2025 and recorded the highest winning bid of $150 per pound. This farm, which has coexisted with the virgin forest and has been cultivated with a strong philosophy, is now the center of specialty coffee that attracts attention not only from Colombia but from around the world.

The 'Gesha Rote Panama' introduced this time is a special coffee that embodies the identity of La Guadua. Seeds directly imported from Panama are planted and grown in the deep alpine soil of Narino, and after harvesting, mucilage fermentation is caried out while blocking oxygen and light for 24 hours. Through this process, the gorgeous floral scent unique to Panamanian Geisha and the clean, clear acidity of Narino are revealed in a balanced manner.

It is not simply a reproduction of the variety, but a glass created by combining the genetic characteristics of Panama and the terroir of Colombia. This coffee most clearly shows the direction and possibilities that Jimmy Gomez has envision."
