"Punte Micromill is a small, family-run processing facility established by six producers. Faced with the reality that it is difficult to sustain a farm solely on low market prices, they sought to add higher value to their coffee through direct processing and quality control, and to find a market where their quality would be fairly recognized. It is a place that has proven the value of coffee under their own name by taking full responsibility for processing, drying, and quality control, going beyond mere cultivation. Puente Micromill is the method of change chosen by these six producers together, as well as a declaration of their commitment to quality.
 
The Puente Gesha Fully Washed imported this time is the coffee that most clearly reveals that philosophy. When cupping it directly at the origin, the first thing I noticed was a precise and transparent beauty rather than exaggerated splendor. The delicate aroma of the Gesha variety was distinctly alive over the clean texture characteristic of Fully Washed coffee, and the fragrance flowed clearly within a single sip without the grain becoming disjointed.
