"Kenyan coffee is back after a long time. I wanted to introduce it to you as soon as possible. The red currant and tomato-like aromas unique to Kenyan coffee bring back memories of old Kenyan coffee.

 

The Kenyan coffee we remember was vivid: tomato-like aromas, red currant, juicy acidity and a three-dimensional feel.

 

But at some point, this strong impression began to fade. With the production decreasing every year, the treatment of farmers worsening, and people leaving the industry, Kenyan coffee gradually became distant from the past. To survive from diseases and pests, varieties resistant to diseases such as Ruiru 11 and Batian were introduced, but the unique quality gradually faded. However, recently, the Kenyan government has taken steps to help the coffee industry reform and the promotion of SL varieties that have preserved the original identity of Kenyan coffee are reviving the forgotten charm of Kenya. This time, the 'SL-Selection' introduced is composed only of SL-28 and SL-34, the unique Kenyan varieties we remember. It is a moment to meet the seeds and their essence again, protecting the identity and quality of this land.
