Moonwake’s story is a bit of a fantasy. A wonderful couple living in Silicon Valley, CA and working in tech Min and Mabel found themselves quarantined like everyone else in 2020 and started roasting coffee at home as a hobby, using a frying pan-like roaster. This kept them busy for the next few years and in 2023 Mabel quit her job to turn their hobby into a career.
Only two years later and they have garnered for themselves quite the name as a roaster. Their name Moonwake comes from the reflection of the moon on a body of water, where one can forget their troubles, if only for a brief moment.
