Mike Bawden grew up in the UK and moved to Glasgow to study Philosophy. After his studies he ended up teaching Philosophy at the University of Berlin for over 15 years. During all that time Mike fell in love with coffee and became a big hobbyist!
In 2023, his wife accepted a professorship in Ann Arbor at one of Michigan's universities. When they moved he was ready for a change; enter coffee as a career. He'd love it so much that he was ready to start his own roastery and he even had a small pop up to brew his coffee. Now, he's perfected his roasting and we are proud to work with Mike!
