ilse was founded in 2019 by Rebecca Grossman and Lucas Smith with a goal of showcasing the world's best coffees and a desire to open people's eyes to what coffee can be. Rebeccas focus lies in establishing meaningful relationships from origin to consumer and ensuring every interaction and brand experience reflects the true essence of ilse. Lucas is responsible for roasting in a way that does justice to the incredible work of the producers and the unique characteristics of each lot. They proudly roast on the Loring with the intent for having clean coffees with clarity in flavor.
