Origami / Japan

The Origami Dripper was developed by Yasuo Suzuki, and Kiyohito Tanaka, the founders of Trunk Coffee located in Nagoya, Japan. The word “origami” — ori means “folding”, and g(k)ami means “paper”- which is a Japanese art of paper folding. This dripper is made from Japanese ceramic and is made up of 20 channels in which it can give you full control over the flow rate. This is important for pour-over coffee as the flow plays an essential role in its taste. Especially for people like me, I always wanted to try something more consistent. The drippers we sell are the plastic air s, Cup 2 filters.
